Setup guides & documentation
Find the guide you need to monitor your first site, set up automatic renewals or connect your team's tools.
Getting started
Add your first public website, connect an agent or bring in reports from your existing tools. The getting started guide walks you through each step.
Getting started guideAutomatic certificate renewals
Set up the agent to request certificates from Let's Encrypt or another compatible public ACME CA, then install and renew them locally. Configure domains, installation steps and optional weekly renewal windows.
Certificate workflows guideCertIntel Agent
Install on Windows or Linux for automatic renewals and monitoring inside your network. Use the Windows desktop app or Linux CLI to choose which services and certificate files to monitor.
Agent setup guidesDNS verification
A one-time CNAME record lets CertIntel host the domain verification needed for issuance and renewal. Your agent or ACME client only needs access to its verification record.
DNS delegation guideYour existing ACME clients
Keep Certbot, simple-acme/win-acme or Posh-ACME and connect their reporting integrations to see renewal activity in CertIntel.
Renewal reporting guideTeam access & sign-in
Invite your team and choose who can view or manage each organization. Use a local account or connect your OpenID Connect sign-in provider on plans with SSO.
SSO / OIDC setupAPI, export & alert webhooks
Connect your own tools with API keys and JSON exports. On plans with alerts, send notifications to email, Slack, Teams, Discord, webhooks, Pushover or ntfy.
API keys & authenticationSecurity & privacy
Certificate private keys stay on the agent's machine and are never uploaded to CertIntel. Monitoring uses certificate details, and you can configure trusted authorities for internal certificates.

Privacy & cookies
The agent keeps certificate private keys locally. CertIntel receives certificate details, monitoring results and renewal reports. For privacy or data-processing questions, contact us.
Our website and wiki use certintel_theme and certintel_theme_mode cookies to remember your appearance for up to one year. They are shared across certin.tel and wiki.certin.tel and are not used for advertising or tracking.
A separate certintel_cookie_notice cookie remembers your acknowledgment and whether to save your appearance for up to one year. Turn off “Remember my appearance” in Cookie settings to remove saved appearance preferences and use page-only changes. If cookies are blocked, local browser storage is used where available; choices then cannot be shared between sites. Clearing browser storage or expiry may show the notice again.
